Walking directions to The Sea Breeze

From the ferry landing in Old Harbor head straight to Water Street.  Make a left on Water Street, where there are stores and restaurants..  At the roundabout, find The Statue of Rebecca. Follow the middle road, Spring Street. Walk up the hill on Spring Street for about 5 minutes.  At the very crest of the hill, you will find us on the left hand side of the road by the red brick driveway. The office for check-in is behind the first building by the road.  If you are coming from Montauk, the ferry lands in New Harbor, which is about a 25 minute walk. There are also taxis available by all the ferry landings.

Traveling to Block Island

We do not recommend bringing your car over to the island. Block Island is 11 square miles, and easily accessible on foot or bike. The Sea Breeze is in a central location and within a short walking distance to shops, ferries, restaurants, and beaches. Parking is very limited and the island can get over-run with cars during the high-season months of July and August. Year-round passenger and car ferry service is from Point Judith, RI (Narragansett).  High-season ferry service (passengers only) leave once daily from Montauk, Newport, and Fall River.  High-season ferry service (passengers only) is also available daily from New London, CT. Bikes are allowed on all ferries.   Parking is available at all ferry terminals. Advance reservations for cars need to be made over the phone. New England Airlines offers 12 minute flights direct from Westerly, RI to Block Island daily, weather permitting.
