Breezy views over the Atlantic coastline, as far as the eye can see. With a laid-back vibe, reflecting the leisurely pace and uncomplicated lifestyle of Block Island. Full of rugged beauty and rustic charm, we appeal to the adventurous traveler. There are no tv's, wi-fi, phones, or air-conditioning in the rooms. We are a no-smoking property.

BREAKFAST : Breakfast is complimentary and delivered to your room each morning. Enjoy the views while you plan your day's adventures. French Press coffee from New Harvest Roasters. An assortment of Stash Teas. Local island eggs from Payne's Farm. Fresh herbs grown on-site. Old Post Office bagels every Sunday.  Littlefield honey. Our breakfast menu is developed by Chef Adam Shepard.

SUSTAINABILITY:  Committed to sustainability since we first opened our doors over 3 decades ago. Respecting the limited and fragile natural resources on this small island. A founding principle is to eliminate reliance on plastics and single usage items. In this way and others, our guests can step up and help us conserve water and electricity. The new off-shore wind farm, the first of its kind in the USA, is a great place to visit. The Sea Breeze is a proud recipient of GreenLeaders Bronze plaque from Trip Advisor.

THE PROPERTY: Tucked away behind tall hedges and pine trees on the bluffs of Spring Street, approx 40 feet above sea level. We are a short ten-minute walk to the town of Old Harbor, shops, ferries, and restaurants. Protected conservation land. Explore seaside gardens, a wildflower meadow, and panoramic freshwater pond and ocean views. Relax and unwind in one of our outdoor sitting areas. The 2 acre property consists of four cedar-shingled cottages with ten guestrooms, two apartments, and one family home. The cottages have been renovated and converted from boarding houses originally built in the 1920's for the local fishing community.
